Takashi Murakami is teaming up with Louis Vuitton once again. Together the Japanese pop artist and the French fashion company have released a new short film for the Louis Vuitton Superflat First Love leather collection. Written and directed by Murakami, the animation features the artist’s quirky characters who play Cupid to a girl named Aya-chan and a young Louis Vuitton. You might recall that “Superflat First Love” is a continuation of the first animation called “Superflat Monogram,” which debuted six years ago when Murakami and Louis Vuitton first collaborated. In that movie, Aya-chan was swallowed by a giant panda. We’re glad to see she made it out okay. See this creative clip after the jump. [Via Juxtapoz]
