pic 6

Sean John continues to push the envelope in fashion with it’s 2nd Delivery of Holiday 2009 titled “NIGHT RUNNER’. This product will be in stores Friday, November 6th, 2009.

Product is inspired by iconic varsity pieces tempt the night with a sophistication and sexiness better suited for after-hours. Collegiate cardigans are trimmed in perforated leather. Flannel vests are accented with leather embroidered crests. Black denim jackets are finished with chunky, tipped sweater ribs. In a capsule offering, zippers invade formality with the need to spin evening in a Sean John way. Heavy gauge sips act as grosgrain tape and bib front pleats in a edgy but chic interpretation of formal. The palette focuses on black and white, making room for mazzerine and twilight blue.

This collection can be found at Macy’s, Dillards, Belks, Sean John 5th Avenue NYC and other fine retailers. www.seanjohn.com

I am a Self-Proclaimed SJ Pro, but please, I beg of you, LESS HAMILTON AND GARVEY, MORE LENOX AND CLAYTON WITH VARIABLE INSEAMS!!!!!!!! With that said, John is the greatest clothier in the history of civilization. And while you’re at it, more Leathers .

The NIGHT RUNNER Collection is very inspiring. I love the specific detailing and colors you put in this 2009 collection. It shows that the design team took time and made sure everything even the inseam inches was perfect. Sean John design team has always been passionate, detailing, and engineered in all their pass collections from my perspective. Trust me, I mean what I say. I am a upcoming designer and pay attention to all those specific things in a collection. Detailing is very important, which are buttons, zippers, trims, and stitches.

I will make sure I take part in the collection by buying a few pieces from Sean John Fifth Avenue or Macy’s.

    Mr. Combs,

Thank you for supporting the drive to end Malaria! I am writing as a Mom, who is very involved with the Booster Club for my Son’s Football Team. This past Season we chose a charity for the school year for the Football team to support, and named our effort “Helmets of Change”. We raised money to support the purchase of mosquito nets for Worldvision, to help safeguard communities while they sleep at night from from mosquito’s that carry Malaria.

This summer, to end our campaign, we will hold a “Night of Nets” campaign for Worldvision to raise awareness in our community about the way purchasing just one net can help save an entire family from the threat of Malaria in many parts of the world!

I know you are busy. Eleanor Roosevelt High School is located in Greenbelt, MD. Our High School Team is named the Raiders. They have had an extremely hard season. We are planning their banquet, and I fear that even though they are a great group of young men, they do not have the mentors we have sought for them. The same groups of parents came to many of their games, but fully 80% were absent.

I have and am doing all that I can for them. No excuses, I don’t have a hard luck story of my own, life is hard, but my parents taught me to take care of any child that stepped or fell in my path! I have 28 Seniors who mean the world to me! I am unable to give them all they need, but prayer will go a long way!

I know you are a man of prayer, but more so, a man of action. Would you be so kind, as to send a letter of encouragement to these young men for me to read to them at our banquet in February? And another to spur on our incoming class of 2011 to spur them on to continue the fight against Malaria that this year’s crop has started?

Nothing else, no donation, clothes, appearance, etc. I know you get asked for many things, but I will copy that letter for each of our young men, to take with them as they go to college and work, and beyond. It will mean a lot to them to know you took time out of your schedule to tell them to keep going, and you support the same cause that they do!

Thank you so much! May God Bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine upon you!

You can send it to my email address if that would be easier for you. talindsey2008@yahoo.com.

    Sincerely,

    Trisha Lindsey
