Founded in 2003 by film director Ted Vadakan and graphic designer Angie Myung, Poketo has found success throughout the past seven years with a series of projects, turning art into everyday essentials. Building off the success of their wallet design, Poketo has gone on to collaborate with the likes of San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art, Nike, and widely successful bands The Arcade Fire and Weezer. The duo’s latest creation consists of these one-of-a-kind tote bags, produced with second-hand suits as a charity project. The tote bags are co-manufactured by Poketo and Eco Party Mearry (a non-profit organization from Korea), with all profits being donated to eco-awareness education and promotion in Korea.

Because my husband and I spend much of the summer taking weekend trips where there is water (Maine, Cape Cod, Berkshires of Western MA), we like to take our bathing suits with us, in case we have a chance to get in the water.
