For the last 10 years, the supercar known as PAGANI Zonda only appeared only in 2 forms – garage trophy of Wall Street bankers gambling on mortgage securities and nocturnal emissions of car enthusiasts. Now comes confirmation that its successor, the PAGANI Huayra, will be available in the U.S. later this year, a first for the auto maker.

Named after the God of Wind, Huayra Tata, a calm figure with mercurial temper when astir. Similarly, the Huayra by PAGANI Automobili is one of refinement with only subtle hint of speed. That is till you awaken its powerplant, a Mercedes-Benz AMG produced twin turbo V12, able to generate 700+ horsepower and 730 pound-feet of torque. Second to the PAGANI line, the vehicle could churn up roadways at 230 mph with air breaks to assist in stopping.  Gull wing entries unveil a well appointed cockpit wrapped with the finest leather seats, steering column, dashboard, and more. Control gauges and information hub are in polished chrome with hint of carbon fiber application. In a release statement, founder Horacio Pagani stated “This automobile is the result of five years of dedicated effort from the Pagani team and we see this as an unprecedented opportunity to continue expanding our vision of the future for the supercar industry.” Details in regard to set launch dates and dealerships will be available in the coming weeks.

Black Mamba, staring Kobe, Kanye West, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo, is a Nike Basketball production, directed by Robert Rodriguez. The film brings Kobe’s alter ego, the Black Mamba to life in a way that’s never been seen before. As the trailer shows, Black Mamba highlights Kobe’s everyday determination and “fight to the finish” spirit. The film also showcases Kobe as one of the best basketball players in the world, featuring him as a “protector” of basketball as he fights off those wishing to destroy and attack the game.

Zondas successor, the new supercar from Italo-Argentinian designer Horacio Pagani is the stunning Pagani C9 Huayra. Equipped with a biturbo V12 engine provided by AMG, the Huayra has 700 hp and 737lb ft of torque, Mercedes-Benz “provided” another cool detail to Pagani, the gull-wing-inspired doors by the now rival SLS.

It’s been a long, long time since Sony re-imagined their handheld portable gaming device, and it looks like the new Sony PSP 2 ($TBA) will be a big change. Emphasis on the big. Powered by a quad-core ARM processor paired with a quad-core GPU, it packs a host of smartphone-y features like 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, a compass, Bluetooth, and two cameras — one front, one rear — along with a bevy of control schemes, including a rear touch surface, dual analog sticks, a d-pad plus PlayStation action and shoulder button combo, six-axis accelerometer control, and a touchscreen. Speaking of which, it’s OLED, 960×544 resolution, and five inches across, meaning this thing will be as big as some seven-inch tablets. Time for bigger pockets.

As always, the AJ5 has been given the BIN 23 stamp of approval (located on the heel) and has been crafted with the finest leathers to hand.
