Esteemed fashion designer and LV creative director Marc Jacobs enlisted the skills of artist Scott Campbell for a new line of Louis Vuitton bags, more than likely set to release for Spring/Summer 2011. The bags feature Campbell’s intricate artwork on several designs, including solid leather offerings and the label’s iconic damier print silhouette. The 2010 FIFA World Cup is in a few days, and when FIFA needed a trophy case, who else would they turn to, but Louis Vuitton? A one-of-a-kind carrying case hand-made in the Louis Vuitton atelier in France, the case is measured to the exact specifications of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The case is decorated with the Louis V monogram and features room to hold the gloves required by the Cup’s handlers.

Founded in 2003 by film director Ted Vadakan and graphic designer Angie Myung, Poketo has found success throughout the past seven years with a series of projects, turning art into everyday essentials. Building off the success of their wallet design, Poketo has gone on to collaborate with the likes of San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art, Nike, and widely successful bands The Arcade Fire and Weezer. The duo’s latest creation consists of these one-of-a-kind tote bags, produced with second-hand suits as a charity project. The tote bags are co-manufactured by Poketo and Eco Party Mearry (a non-profit organization from Korea), with all profits being donated to eco-awareness education and promotion in Korea.

Next year Louis Vuitton will be releasing custom iPad Cases. The cases will come both in the Monogram and in the Damier Graphite design. The cases will be priced at 240 USD, which is actually quite reasonable considering regular LV pricing.

Crafted from their beautifully textured Taiga leather, Louis Vuitton’s Mitka ($4,070) is the kind of piece you would hope the airline would never make you check-in. The Mitka is also has a water repellent finish and details like exterior and interior straps for security.

One Central Macau, is the latest premier address for Louis Vuitton. In celebration, the store will release a selection of exclusive products.

Perhaps the most prominent piece amongst the latest releases is this special-order Casino Trunk. First introduced in Macau and Las Vegas, the trunk will be exclusively pre-launched at One Central Maison, in honor of the grand opening. As you can see the trunk is extensive and features multiple compartments as a well as a roulette wheel alongside other similar gambling products, which all support the Vegas Casino theme. The exterior is in typical LV style, featuring the brand’s iconic monogram print.
