Here’s the first look at the upcoming Damier Infini collection that is set to debut at Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Menswear show on Paris Fashion Week today January 20th. The collection consists of a Keepall, Porte-Documents Voyage, Zippy Wallet, and will hit stores in mid-August.

Louis Vuitton’s Utah Tattoo bag is the unique result of the collaboration between the iconic French accessory brand and sought-after tatoo artist, Scott Campbell. The travel bag ($7,150) combines Vuttion’s Utah Leather with a beautifully ornate pattern that is perforated into the leather using laser cutting methods.

The Louis Vuitton Trunk is one of the most iconic travel accessories in the world of luxury and travel. As a way to capture the transformations and journeys of the trunk, a book entitled Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks or Louis Vuitton: 100 Malles De Légende will be coming out this October. It chronicles such stories as the birth of the monogram trunk and other variations of this Louis Vuitton piece such as the trunk bed, the wardrobe trunk, the teabox, toiletry trunk, circus trunks, and more. It also reaches beyond just the item itself and extends to some of the prominent figures that were fortunate enough to own them.

In addition to the book, Louis Vuitton has also produced 30 reproductions of labels of the hotel’s private collection in a postcard format. Presented in the same type of box that of the book, the cards evoke much of the art of the travel as the grand hotels of the world. Hotel de Crillon in Paris and Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok are just some of the places that are represented in the tradition of sticking labels on the trunks.

The book will be available from October 13, 2010 to mark the opening of the exhibition “A Journey into the capital, Louis Vuitton and Paris” in the Carnavalet Museum (13 October 2010 to February 27, 2011 Musée Carnavalet 23, rue de Sévigné, 75003 Paris)

Louis Vuitton worked with Bono’s Edun to create a limited edition Keepall 45 travel duffel ($4,900) in debossed Monogram leather where proceeds of the sales will goto the Conservation Cotton Initiative. CCI advocates the development of eco-friendly, organic cotton farming to improve incomes and increase economic growth.

Esteemed fashion designer and LV creative director Marc Jacobs enlisted the skills of artist Scott Campbell for a new line of Louis Vuitton bags, more than likely set to release for Spring/Summer 2011. The bags feature Campbell’s intricate artwork on several designs, including solid leather offerings and the label’s iconic damier print silhouette.
