Zaha Hadid Architects has unveiled plans for the Stone Park district of Cairo. The Stone Towers will provide mixed use space, in a series of twisting structures. The impetus is to provide much needed retail and business facility in the rapidly expanding city. Hadid has incorporated the texture and tradition of Ancient Egyptian stonework into the design. (via Yatzer).
