If you’re a big Muhammad Ali fan — and we mean BIG — then you’ll no doubt be itching to get your hands on a copy of GOAT: Champ’s Edition ($15,000). The release details are finally available for these highly-anticipated collaborations between two landmark DJs and Nike Sportswear. Nike Sportswear is continuing the East and West theme with this collaborative release, with the late Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, representing the left coast, and 1/2 of Gang Starr, DJ Premier, representing the East. The DJ AM Dunk Hi features the legendary and innovative AC/DC-inspired logo on the tongue and perforations to match the markings on a Tecnics 1200 turntable on the heel atop a bit of reflective material. Premier’s Air Force 1 has a much more rugged look in it’s dark colors and tough materials. Premier’s name is laser-etched on the heels with another logo etched on the forefoot.

The official release date for both of the shoes is Saturday, January 9th. On January 7th, however, Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street in New York City and Nike Sportswear at the Montalban in LA will release an exclusive double-pack of these kicks, complete with a custom box paired with a Serato vinyl that refrences the colors of the sneakers. All of the proceeds from the Sportswear release benefit the DJ AM Memorial Fund, so to support a great cause and snag two of the most highly-anticipated sneakers in quite some time, head out to Nike Sportswear and get on line early, because these will surely sell out.
