The Trevita CCXR is the latest limited edition of Koenigsegg’s CCXR supercar. Trevita, in Swedish, means “three whites,” a reference to the number of cars planned for production. The limited production is due to the method and material employed in the manufacturing of the car’s bodywork. In-house Koenigsegg engineers developed a special type of carbon fiber whose fibers have been coated with a diamond finish, creating a metallic white (as opposed to traditional black) color. Dubbed the Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave, the material retains the typical, interwoven carbon fiber pattern, but with a unique, sparkling finish. Other upgrades over the standard CCXR include a double carbon wing, paddle shifters, an upgraded exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes, and an infotainment system. The 1018 horsepower 4.7 liter engine is carried over from the standard car. Pricing has not been announced, but expect a considerable premium over the CCXR’s $1.2 million price tag.

Ferrari has collaborated with Chinese artist Lu Hao to create a one-off 599 GTB Fiorano. The 599, a very special car in its own right, has been given a very special exterior finish in addition to a few other unique tweaks. Drawing inspiration from Ge Kiln porcelain of the Song dynasty, Hao has given the Ferrari a similar “cracked glaze” pattern, with exquisite attention to detail; the color shading of the cracks varies throughout, giving the impression of varying degrees of depth. Hao, a Ferrari owner himself, has also added Chinese badging on the interior and exterior, adding a personal touch the the standard gauges and switches. This special-edition will be sold at a Gala on November 3rd, with the proceeds going to charity.

It takes a lot of confidence to tweak one of the greatest production cars of the modern era. Luckily, it seems that edo competition has that in spades. The Ahlen, Germany-based tuners seem intent on modifying only the world’s most exclusive and powerful vehicles, with a stable of supercars that includes Lamborghini LPs, a Ferrari 430, and an Audi R8. Their latest conception might trump its brethren, however. Edo has somehow given rise to an 840bhp Enzo, which they call the FXX Evolution. Despite its 180bhp advantage over a stock Enzo, the FXX Evolution also tips the scales 220 pounds lighter, and a functional (and insane) aero kit completes the look. The end result of their work quickly becomes a numbers game: the car hits 60mph in 3.2 seconds, has a top speed of 242mph, and can shift gears in 60 milliseconds. Yes, in the grand scheme of things, the FXX Evolution is a little ridiculous, but isn’t that the point?

It is futuristic but classic, sporty yet luxury and mostly eye catching. The four door saloon that is equipped with 16 cylinder 8 litre engine with two stage super chargers, which is serious by any standards. On top of that it is all wheel drive with specifically designed ceramic brakes and new suspension makes handling with ease. At any angle you look, there is style and character and the signature clamshell running through the length of the vehicle takes it back to its heritage.

McLaren’s long awaited supercar has finally been unleashed and you better believe the legendary creators behind the iconic F1 are sure to impress. The new MP4-12C is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 producing a total of 600 horsepower, a 0-60 time in the low 3 seconds, and a top speed of over 200 miles per hour.

Looks like Lamborghini wasn’t going to let its stablemates over at Audi take all the attention with their recent unveiling of the R8 Spyder, Lamborghini is also taking this moment to drop their Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds from a 650 hp V12 and an engine noise that suspiciously sounds like a large, rather smug looking Italian bull laughing in the face of the current economic crisis.

The wait is finally over as there are some images of the 2010 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG have floated onto the internet. Obvious resemblance to the classic 300SL “Gulwing” is evident in styling but that is where the similarities end. Front/midship V8 6.3 litre engine makes use of most of the AMG technology that is connected to a seven speed dual clutch transmission punching out 563 hp at 480 lb-ft of torque.

This is the first clear view of the SLS and the color choices available will be Alubeam Silver, Syvanite Grey, Alanite Grey and Red that is fitted with complimenting leather interior and ten spoke forged wheels. Production will start in 2010 with sales starting in the year after that.
